Team, what an AWESOME game everyone had tonight!!! Everything seemed to fire on all cylinders: offense, defense, baserunning... tonight is a game to be proud of and hopefully we'll be able to build off of it next week.
I don't know if anyone realizes it, but we won the game 19-5... OK, big deal you say. Let's not forget we ended the first inning tied @ 4-4. The 10 run rule does not take affect until the end of the 5th inning... meaning over the course of 4 innings we scored 15 runs while they only scored 1.
Good game everyone... and Molly... ignore the text message from Deb, you'll be welcome back next week with open arms!

Word. I agree with Jake on every front. Practically every play and every at-bat were highlights.

ReplyDeleteSome of us (me! Somebody had to make the outs, right?) had less than stellar nights, but it was super to see everyone else have such fantastic evenings.
ReplyDeleteAnd since when is yelling praise from the sidelines "heckling"?? They were loud and boisterous but I only heard good things from them...
